We are looking for a hands on Senior Artist / Lead Artist to join our art team, onsite in Vienna (38,5h/week).
You would help define the vision and workflow for new projects, and guide artists to finish great looking games on time and budget. You’ll need to be a good artist who can work hands on and lead by example over the life span of the project. Good communication skills and a global view are vital, as you’ll be working with designers, programmers and more to create games that the team can be proud of.

For this job we need you to have
Excellent ability in one or more of concept, graphic design or UI art, and a desire to keep improving
Previous experience directing or leading games artists
Experience defining art styles and creating worlds or characters
The drive to deliver great looking games and motivate your team
Ability to adapt and approach problems creatively
An interest in modern games and what makes a good one work

5+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience with tech art or animation
Experience briefing and directing outsourcers
Experience working with Unity or Unreal
EU citizenship or valid work permit

Austrian work law binds us to indicate the legal minimum wage for each advertised position. For the position, the minimum salary would be gross EUR 2.332- per month, 14 salaries per year (Kollektivvertrag IT, ST1 / Einstieg). The salary can be higher to recognize a candidate’s experience and skill level.
